EAG Services Starts New M&A Project


HOUSTON, TX – June 9, 2016 – EAG Services, a Houston based Oil and Gas consulting firm, today announces the start of a new engagement to manage, coordinate and assist with the integration of newly acquired assets for an Appalachian-based Exploration and Production company. The acquisition includes a high volume of acreage, and EAG is pleased to have been selected to manage the integration of these assets into the acquirer’s existing suite of applications.
The project is slated to begin in mid-June and complete by early September. EAG’s CEO, Elizabeth Gerbel, states that “We are starting to see a lot of M&A activity within the industry, and we are excited to participate in these transactions. Our objective, as EAG Services, is to support the rapid and quality integration of assets so that our clients quickly achieve the anticipated acquisition benefits and maximize the value of these new assets.”

EAG Services scope of work for this engagement includes:

  • Project Management:
    •  Plan project and communication activities, report project status, manage risks and issues, orchestrate multi-system data migration activities, ensure testing and manage migration of assets into the live system environments.
  • Conversion Analysis:
    • Conduct analysis, mapping, and upload file preparation, perform file uploads and data migration, validate conversion results, facilitate the review and acceptance of converted data, and provide interim post-cutover support.
  • Technical Integration of Data within:
    • Enertia.
