HOUSTON, TX – June 30, 2016 – EAG Services, a Houston based Oil and Gas consulting firm, congratulates another client on a successful implementation of Schlumberger’s Avocet (Production Accounting Software). The Texas-based client was formed through a series of acquisitions and needed to restructure the data to better fit their business. The client has less than 100 employees and operates 1200+ wells, mostly in the Barnett Shale.
During Phase 1 of the project, the client’s primary goal was to reorganize network diagrams. EAG led validation sessions with field operations in order to vet differences between hand drawn diagrams and the Avocet diagram setups. Phase 1.5 involved integrating FieldDIRECT data into Avocet and verifying diagram setups for a different acquisition.
EAG managed the reorganization of networks and the testing effort to ensure daily and monthly allocations were accurate for all products (oil, gas, and water). During the data conversion, EAG converted all objects (wells, meters, tanks, and compressors) from FieldDIRECT into Avocet, cleansed missing/inaccurate data, and loaded raw data and allocated historical data from FieldDIRECT. In addition, EAG designed interfaces to automatically load daily FieldDIRECT data until Field Data Capture can be implemented within Avocet.
Both the client and EAG Services were pleased with the outcome of this one-year engagement.
