With over 10+ years of experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas sector, Qarnain currently serves as Manager at EAG and his areas of expertise include software implementation for Land, process flows, test scripts, custom reports, and data validation.

What’s been one of your proudest moments working at EAG?
Developing outstanding relationships with clients that gives them the confidence and trust to bring us back for future projects; all achieved by working with them to develop tailored solutions by matching system capabilities with business requirements.
What advice do you have for prospective candidates that want to join EAG?
It is important to find transferable skills that you have developed over your previous career that can be used to bring value to clients and leverage those skills to learn and develop into new areas. It is also important to share these skills within the internal organization. The EAG team is a diverse team that enjoys a challenge.
What’s one thing – either industry-related or not – you learned in the last month?
With a recent project I have had the opportunity to expand cross functionally and learn more about the revenue and accounting functions and their interdependencies with other functions.
What do you like to do in your free time? Any favorite places you like to visit?
When safe travel is possible, I enjoy traveling to ski destinations and beaches. However, for the time being I enjoy Biking, running in local parks and taking on projects around the house.

I have lived in 10 different cities across 5 countries.
How do you balance your career and family?
It is a challenge I tackle each day. I make it a point to disconnect at certain hours to share the important moments and pick back up later in the evenings if needed. Having a supportive spouse has helped especially during times of increased travel.
