What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to exercise, walk the dogs, watch the latest on Netflix, and spend time with friends on the weekend (when it’s safe!). I also play in recreational kickball and dodgeball leagues on Saturdays.
What’s the best thing about your job?
There is rarely a dull day. There are always new challenges to overcome and new conundrums to figure out. I enjoy going out to new clients to work with new people, learn from them, and understand their ways of doing the business. We like to focus on industry best practices, and as the industry evolves, so do the best practices. It is rewarding to be involved in helping clients do their business more efficiently or effectively, such as through new tools, improved processes, better data or data analytics, and seeing that improvement come to fruition at the end of a project.
What do you find the most challenging at EAG and how has it developed your career so far?
Starting a project when you are not an expert on the subject matter is always a challenge, however it gives you the opportunity to learn a lot in a short amount of time. It’s important to always leverage those opportunities to continue to grow and become well rounded.
Exciting accomplishments on your projects.
On a project, we invited a lot of people at the company to showcase our proposed process flows. We printed the process flows in giant map paper and spread them out across the room. Over 75 people showed up to see them and provide feedback, including the President of the company. He told the project sponsor “you should have invited the whole company!”
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
I am an avid car enthusiast and can name the make and model and get close on the year for pretty much everything.
