How would you describe EAG?

A workplace culture that values innovation and creativity. If you have ideas, people here will listen.

What’s been one of your proudest moments working at EAG?

When clients I have worked with previously ask for me by name for a new project.

What advice do you have for prospective candidates that want to join EAG?

Push yourself to learn as much as you can whether it’s a new technical skill, functional area, application, or soft skill. You get out of this place what you put in.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time with my wife and daughter, DIY projects, home automation, travel, cooking, video games, pub trivia, and golf.

Any favorite places you like to visit?

Anywhere my wife and I can fly to via Southwest airlines for a long weekend (beach, skiing, new city).

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

We found an abandoned dog on the side of the road 6 years ago and decided to keep him after nursing him back to health. He is still as happy and energetic as ever, and best friends with our 2-year-old daughter. We could not believe someone would throw out a perfectly good dog.

How do you balance your career and family?

I block off a set amount of time in the evenings on weeknights to spend time with my wife and kid, cook dinner, etc. and try to resist the urge to look at my phone during this window of time.

Who or what inspires you and why?

My wife is a RN at Children’s Memorial Hermann and spends all day on her feet. She has worked through the pandemic and 2 pregnancies, yet she always has a smile on her face when she gets home and switches into mom mode.

Your life motto:

Be worldly and travel often. There are always new places you can visit, new cultures you can learn about, and new things you can try.

What’s your superpower?

Smartsheet, trivia, and dad jokes.

If you want to experience a great work culture, we’re hiring!  Check out our open roles — https://www.eagservices.com/join-our-team/
