EAG Services Completes Explorer to Producer Transition

HOUSTON, TX – July 15, 2016 – EAG Services, a Houston based Oil and Gas Consulting firm, announces the completion of a successful implementation that has transitioned a Houston based deep water exploration company into a deep water producer.  The new systems and business processes will allow the firm to easily increase additional production as new wells are brought online.
The primary goal of the project was to have all systems in place when first production came online.  The project started in the third quarter of 2015.  Adjustments to the schedule were required when production started six weeks early but all Production, Revenue Accounting and ONRR reporting were ready on time. After go-live EAG Services continued to provide Business Analyst support until the company was ready to take over day-to-day system activities.
The EAG Services scope of work for this engagement included:

• Project Management:
  • Plan project and communication activities
  • Report project status and manage risks and issues
  • Facilitate the software selection for a Production Data Management System
  • Provide PMO guidance for all aspects of the implementations including the management of four vendors
• Business Analysis
  • Lead the design of new business processes for functions which did not exist prior to the project
  • Guide the design and testing of integrations between OSI PI (High Frequency Well Data), Avocet Volumes Management and Quorum Revenue Accounting
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and End-to-End testing for all systems
  • Contribute to the development of reporting solutions utilizing vendor software
  • Create custom training and user guides for each software application
