EAG Services Completes a Successful Software Evaluation Project

HOUSTON, TX – March 6, 2017– EAG Services, a Houston based Oil and Gas consulting firm, today announces a successful completion of a software selection project with an American petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company headquartered in Houston. Established in 1954, the company has grown to become one of the world’s largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies. EAG was asked to manage and support the company’s evaluation of Land and Division Order software solutions and develop a data cleansing strategy. In preparation for the implementation, EAG assisted in evaluating Land Administration data and developed a data cleansing strategy.
EAG is well-versed in the software applications utilized by Land and Division Order, the business requirements that are key considerations during a selection, as well as data cleansing best practices.  The goal of this project was to prepare the client for future growth, and with EAG’s help the company received an appropriate software recommendation.
The EAG Services scope of work for this engagement included:

• Reviewing and assessing of the systems utilized by peer companies
• Gathering business requirements and scope details for inclusion in the RFP
• Evaluating solutions that meet the companies Land Management and Division Order business requirements
• Preparing for and managing vendor demonstrations
• Conducting reference checks
• Completing a 5-Year Total Cost of Ownership Analysis
• Completing an evaluation scorecard which incorporates the RFP responses, Reference Check results, Demonstration Scoring and Total Cost of Ownership
• Developing and presenting a summary of the evaluation results and EAG’s recommendation
• Developing initial implementation planning deliverables
• Developing a future state integration strategy
• Completing the data analysis and defining a cleansing strategy
