EAG Services Completes ERP Conversion Project
HOUSTON, TX – July 1, 2016 – EAG Services, a Houston based Oil and Gas consulting firm, congratulates another client on a successful implementation on Quorum’s Upstream and Land Suite. The Oklahoma-based client selected the Quorum Upstream and Land Suite as a replacement to CGI’s Horizon ERP system which CGI has announced it will sunset.
The client’s primary goal was to accurately report depth ownership for all company entities. Depth severances were not accurately managed in Horizon, so a land services firm was engaged to review and create the data necessary to report depth ownership as part of the conversion to Quorum.
EAG managed the data conversion effort from Horizon to Quorum. In order to achieve the goal, EAG cleansed the Horizon data before merging it with the dataset provided by the land services firm. EAG designed and executed the data conversion, advised the land services firm on required data fields, and managed the testing effort. In addition to managing the Land conversion, EAG Services was also responsible for converting properties, wells, business associates, and joint interest and revenue decks.

I’m very proud of the company that we have become, the people I get to work with every day and the types of projects that we tackle. More than anything though, I’m so grateful for the wonderful clients we work with. Without their support and collaboration, we would not be celebrating our 13th year in business.
